52 Weeks in Nature :: Week 7

The spring flowers are starting to bloom in force now, with snowdrops and crocus through – I also found some periwinkle, growing in the snicket by the playing fields.  There is some calendula flowering in my neighbour’s garden and I’ve seen a daffodil about to flower (maybe I’ll get a picture of it this week).

Edited to add that Nin took the photos of the snowdrops.

Joining in with Donni from The Magic Onions for 52 Weeks in Nature.

      We have a field with tiny ponies (Shetland?) in not far from us. Last year we arrived just after one had foaled (a little gory with the caul still hanging out) and her newborn just starting to stand – it was pretty special!
