Cherry picking

With the beautiful weather the cherries have been ripening so with Nin away in Norway, Ted, Anna and I went cherry-picking (or rather Ted and I went cherry-picking whilst Anna snoozed).
The foals are getting steadily bigger.
And the maize seems to go on and on and on and on in the fields around here!
We’ve managed to pick about 8kg of cherries so far that I’ve been busy turning into jelly, cordial and the odd kefir cheesecake – I love cherries, but still am looking forward to when the apples begin to come ready and jelly-making can begin in earnest!
