Kefir cheese

I made soft cheese from kefir and am so pleased (I even did a little happy dance).

When I first unwrapped it…
And after I transferred it into a bowl.
It tastes good! This batch is going to make a raspberry lemon cheesecake (I’ve made some lemon biscuits for the base).  I’m looking forward to the finished cheesecake tomorrow.
I’m still feeling really pleased with myself.  It’s the simple things…

    Yes, labneh. I had been wondering whether it would work with kefir before I saw Naomi’s link up to Dom’s kefir site as it seemed (in my head) that it was the same principle, so I was really pleased to see that it would.I look forward to seeing what you come up with if you post it up 😀
