It's finished!

Yay! I finally finished the skull-patterned yoked jumper!

It was knitted as I went along and I’m rather pleased with the fact that I’ve managed to knit a jumper without a pattern, save for a glance at arm-shaping. The neck is cast-off a little tight, so something to bear in mind for the next time, but I think it looks lovely on him (my photography skills aren’t the best though πŸ˜‰

It’s knitted in Debbie Bliss Cotton Angora. I’m not a fan of the yarn, but I’m on a ‘use what you have’ drive atm. It’s lovely and soft though!

I’m also making a two month pledge to Wardrobe Refashion.

I, dottyspots, pledge that I shall abstain from the purchase of “new” manufactured items of clothing, for the period of 2 months. I pledge that I shall refashion, renovate, recycle preloved items for myself with my own hands in fabric, yarn or other medium for the term of my contract. I pledge that I will share the love and post a photo of my refashioned, renovoated, recylcled, crafted or created item of clothing on the Wardrobe Refashion blog, so that others may share the joy that my thriftyness brings!

cool jumper. I was signed up to wardrobe re-fashion but am doing very little sewing at the moment, I have just started doing crochet though which is good cos I can sit with my feet up which it feels like i will need to a lot the next couple of months.
